Twice the Run, Twice the Fun??

So today Coach Johnny (www.jkmhealth.com https://www.facebook.com/Adv.Sports.Chiro) had me start doubling.  The morning run was an very very easy run with no calories beforehand.  Only a little bit of coffee and water.  It is tough to go as slow as Johnny wants but I am following the plan.  The concept is to use this run to teach my body to burn fat.  I have been running into Tyler for this run and it is quiet and peaceful.  I am beginning to like this run!

The second run of the day was a recovery 6 miles after work which was to be between 7:30 and 8 minutes with 6 x one 30 seconds at 10K pace with one minute in between each pickup.  Johnny seems to add something quicker almost every day.  Not at a level to tire the legs but just enough.  I am hoping this will really show benefits by this summer with some increased turnover.  This felt really good but I have to admit I am nervous about coming back tomorrow on the track for a tough workout.  I guess tomorrow we can all read how that goes!!!!!!  I hope I can sleep tonight..

    You are starting to get it….it is very freeing to gl slow because you want to….not because you have to!~
