After 3 Hard Training Weeks Finally a Recovery Week

Recovery week finally… (THANK YOU COACH JOHNNY KING-MARINO!  http://www.jkmhealth.com) So today, I only had a nice 6 mile run.  The legs were still tired from yesterday so I decided to get a little extra sleep and do the run at lunch.  I took the opening mile very slow and then relaxed into mid 7’s for the rest of the run.  Tomorrow is 5am on the track.  Just because it is a recovery week does not mean no quality work.  It simply means the training is a bit less intense and lower in total volume.  As my legs have felt the increase in work load I am looking forward to a bit less this week and then the following week I will focus on getting ready for the Broad Street run which is a bench mark race for me.  This will let me know where I am with roughly 11 weeks until the big race in Israel.
