So tonight I had a 70 minute run in some decent heat, 86F and humid. The right hammy is still not 100%. I am “aware” of it but it is not altering my stride or causing me any pain. That said I was thinking about it each step so I am clearly not where I want to be with less than 2 weeks until race day. I will get more PT from Dr Johnny tomorrow and I hope and expect by this weekend I will be back to 100%. I could race like this if I had too but I really hope I don’t have to!!
Forgetting the hammy the run felt easy and the fitness and heat acclimation is where I need it to be. I just need this hammy to heal!!
Only 6 days until I fly over so I need to get this resolved and FAST!
