So today was a nice easy 5 miles with some long 30 second striders put in. I ran this in the evening to begin to get myself used to running at this time of day over here in Israel. Being Shabbat here in Israel I thought it would not be too crowded on this run but I was wrong. There were sectionss that were quite crowded but I we managed to find good sections to run the striders.

As a special treat the captain of the Australian Half Marathon team invited me (and our team) to join their workout as he had the same exact workout planned as I did! My coach, Dr. Marino, must be connected to Australia! Braham, the captain, was a great running partner. We all had a blast!
